Research has shown that up to 70% of the population will have neck pain during their lifetime with about 50% of people having experienced neck pain in the past 6 months. Neck pain can stem from a variety of tissues in the body and can make performing daily tasks such as sleeping, driving, and working difficult.

Neck Pain can be caused by several pathologies. Some of the most common are:

  • Degenerative Disc Disease
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Bulging or herniated discs
  • Stenosis
  • Muscular Strains and Sprains
  • Whiplash events
  • Postural impairments

These pathologies can result in other ailments such as headaches, lightheadedness, dizziness, and TMJ dysfunction. These can occur simultaneously or independent of neck pain.
