We utilize a variety of exercises aimed at improving pain, strength, ROM, and coordination to promote tissue health and overall function to meet each person’s individual goals. Therapeutic exercise is exercise that is prescribed to correct impairments that are caused by weakness in the skeletal muscles, that in result allows people achieve functional goals. Therapeutic exercise has many benefits including: increasing muscle strength, improving balance, flexibility and Range of motion as well as decreasing pain.

3 forms of strength training:

  • Isometric static, no change in muscle length
  • Isotonic dynamic with constant load
  • isokinetic constant velocity and variable load.
